NONPOINT Vow To 'Reinvent' Themselves On Upcoming CD

December 26, 2002

NONPOINT have issued the following update regarding the songwriting sessions for the group's next studio effort:

"We have been in some serious writing sessions as of late and even though we wrote a lot of material on the bus, we got together as a unit in the practice space things are coming rather quickly. We are extremely excited on how awesome the music has come together, we will say this YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!, if you loved 'Statement' and 'Development' you will like this, but here is the catch, it sounds nothing like either one of them. It's like we have reinvented ourselves. We have about 15 songs that are finished and we are not even close to setting a date to enter the studio. So we are continuing to write till whenever we have to stop, we want at least over 30 songs and record them all and choose the best ones from those. We are in talks with some producers and have not yet narrowed it down but we will make the best choice, we have a vision on where we want to go with our next album sonically and musically that has not yet been displayed on either record. What we want to achieve is to capture the energy of a NONPOINT show. And if you have seen us live you will know what we are talking about. Thanx to all of you for your support and we will see you on tour in Feb. We cannot wait."
